Despite their controversial status as a “good” or “bad” metal band, Five Finger Death Punch are one of the metal scene’s biggest bands, going out on arena tours with country artists and opening for Metallica. Now, guitarist Zoltan Bathory has taken a step further into the spotlight as he becomes a playable operator in the Call of Duty franchise.

According to tweets from Bathory and the official Call of Duty Twitter account, Bathory will be playable in Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone.

“Let’s goooooo ! ???????? It was a lot of fun working on this, all the body scans the photo shoots with the @callofduty crew and my friends at TacGas ???? It’s been a long time in the making . Can’t wait for this to drop on August 2nd !” Bathory tweeted.

Call of Duty also shared two preview images on Twitter.

Outside of Call of Duty-related happenings, Five Finger Death Punch finally returned to the stage after seven months of downtime in the wake of singer Ivan Moody‘s hernia surgery. The band will be out for a couple more headline dates before linking up with Metallica.
