Gracing the cover of Goss Magazine’s latest issue is motivational speaker Natasha Graziano, the teacher of the “be it until you become it,” philosophy, something that Goss Magazine founder Rebecca Perez, is all too familiar with.
Perez and Graziano have both had their fair share of challenges, yet continue to strive forward and inspire other women to do the same. Both of them, manifestation queens in their own right, joined forces to bring the message of believing in yourself despite what challenges you may come across along your journey.
“My why is so big,” Perez says. “I want every woman to feel safe and independent, especially when it comes to financial freedom, because that to me is the most important thing. I saw my mother not having that, so I want to inspire other women to not have to go through what she did as well.”
At the age of 19, Perez took on the role of guardian for her younger sister, and that experience set off something in her to not only want to be a good role model for her sister, but forced her to realize that a lot of younger women need mentors in their lives.
“The experience made me into a better person and gave me purpose,” she says, and that purpose has helped her to build Goss Magazine to what it is today. Born of determination and a relentless desire to keep going, Goss Magazine is more than a magazine, but a force for change in a world where women no longer need to fight for a seat at the table, but rather build their own.
Goss Magazine gives women an opportunity to motivate and inspire one another; to network, learn, grow, and transform their lives. Ever since she was a young girl, this is something Perez always envisioned – a place where women could come together and thrive, and today she’s manifested it.

“Six months into launching the brand, W Hotel approached me in Montreal, and said they loved what I was doing and that they wanted to collaborate with Goss to create a networking event for women,” Perez continues.
“I remember screaming when I got that email. I was like, ‘What? The W wants to work with us?!’ I was maybe 24 at the time, super excited, but just kind of went with the flow.” Going with the flow is another important aspect of manifestation, as it represents one’s ability to trust in the universe that everything is going to work out for the greater good.
“We

were just naturally going with the flow. Even when it came to the print issues, first I was just doing an online blog and events, and then a year and a half in, one of my mentors came to me and was like, ‘we should turn this into a print magazine.’”
“My mentor used to be a publisher, and said that she can help me do the entire thing. At that time, I had no idea how to create an actual print magazine, but now if you look at our latest issue, we’re doing over 100 pages of content with such beautiful quality.”
Saying yes to opportunities like this allowed Perez to carve a unique path and make her dreams come true. She gained confidence in herself and her brand, while also networking with other successful people and growing independently.
“I was like Jim Carrey in the movie Yes Man, just saying yes to everything that came my way,” she laughs. Perez grabbed on to any opportunity that came her way, and her work has definitely paid off.
“It’s not easy all the time. Obviously, being in business like this has lots of ups and downs, but I think we came to the point where now there’s a system and an ease to it.”
When asked if she has any last piece of advice for women entrepreneurs looking to take things to the next level, Perez says, “just start embodying success.”
Embodiment is not something that comes naturally to a lot of people, especially when your inner critic comes into play. So many women experience imposter syndrome, but the good part is, we can help each other overcome that.
“It’s funny how you’ll notice that everything is so connected. You’ll talk to one person and she’s in a completely different industry than another woman, but they’re going through the same experience.”
“That’s why connecting to each other is so important. We can uplift and mentor one another, and help each other manifest our goals. The more I learn, the more I’m able to take that information and bring it to my community. That’s been the biggest thing for me,” she concludes.
Today, Goss Magazine is transforming women’s perceptions of what they deem possible, while demonstrating the power of community in female entrepreneurship.
