Metallica played their Helping Hands Concert & Auction on December 16 16th) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The concert saw the debut of both the band’s “Borderline” by Thin Lizzy and “It’s Killing Me” by UFO covers, as well as St. Vincent joining the band for “Nothing Else Matters.” The show also saw Metallica debuting their brand new single “Lux Æterna” live for the first time ever.

Metallica will release 72 Seasons on April 14. The album is 12 tracks and 77-minutes (so no more double albums from Metallica at the moment), and is available for pre-order here. Metallica will also hit the road throughout 2023 and 2024 at one of the many dates below.
