Either Mötley Crüe are big fans of some band that nobody has ever heard of, or they’re plotting a secret club show at The Underworld in London on June 30. We’re guessing it’s the latter.
Mötley Crüe has posted a flyer for something called Dögs Of War for June 30, whcih you can check out below. Maybe this is a teaser for some of the band’s upcoming new material? John 5 recently touched on the upcoming Mötley Crüe material being recorded with producer Bob Rock, saying “The songs are fucking heavy. I sound like a little excited kid right now, but they’re heavy and they’re mean. I can’t wait for them to come out. I’m just so excited.
“Bob would come in and [say], ‘OK, let’s try this here, and that here and this here. It was one of the most incredible experiences ever. … I’m thinking, ‘We’ve got so much great technology today’… but we got in that room and it was like being in a garage working on a song when you were in high school.”
Regardless, stay tuned. I’m sure someone (lookin’ at you, MetalSucks) will have something to say about Vince Neil at the show.
