If you could dive deep into the mind, rewind, find and empower yourself and your teams to improve their performance, would you?

Each individual has a set point for the amount of stress they can handle before it triggers anxiety, lack of confidence, anger, under performance etc. A group environment is the sum of all of its individuals and their collective response to stress. Imagine your life and the life of those that you worked with if those triggers were reduced significantly. There is a way to feel resilient, unstoppable and confidently moving forward towards goals and dreams – both individually and collectively, but we must decide to seek it out.

Despite adverse circumstances, we can choose to be bitter and upset, to carry grief, or to rise above it all.

It’s not to deny that a particularly tough time didn’t happen, but for the founder of Your Liberated Mind, Helen Pleic, reflecting on over 20 years of corporate experience, the largest drains on performance and leadership are individuals personal triggers.

There is no greater challenge in life than knowing when to deviate from conventional wisdom, and the challenges her clients come to her with today particularly around lack of confidence in the workplace, which all go back to childhood.

The passage of time is not all that defines life but rather the collection of experiences that make us who we are – and with every passing moment comes another opportunity to turn it around.

If you are currently facing a workplace mentality where you are struggling to achieve your goals or reach success, you should not accept the situation you find yourself in. No challenge has ever been solved, and no lasting improvement has been made from the mindset that created it.

Unless people dare to try something new – something different, or dare to think differently, things will not change.

A job or any work environment that requires you to think, act, bond with others daily, present to and manage different levels of seniority in the business exposes you to many triggers based on your past events.

The dangers of this, according to now rapid transformational therapist, master NLP coach, and clinical Hypnotherapist Helen Pleic, is that “in terms of communication and vision across all divisions and departments, a clash of two departmental heads which are not aligned, creates a ripple of tension, stress, rework – impacting all the other team members.”

Here corporations tend to throw millions of dollars into coaching services. Still, in the end, the underlying dynamic will only transform once individual members let go of often, at times, unknown personal trauma that they carry into the organization.

“There will always be tension in those teams because these people need to resolve what’s happened to them in the past, and it’s not the employers’ responsibility to pay for any individual to heal themselves,” suggests Pleic.

She continues, “I think if corporations want to become productive and effective while managing profitability and improving work life balance, then the real conversations that need to happen are around resilience and triggers for stress. Some clients come to me at breaking point, not wanting to go on medication and struggling. How can there be an element of a joint and shared split of how to resolve work stress triggering trauma in conjunction with hitting corporate goals.”

While coaching is an integral part of a forward-focused lifestyle, it’s about how to move towards goals, define and align your identity, improve your perception of where you are, and change your perception of what is stopping you.

But is it enough? You and everyone else are still moving forward with all past baggage. A change in perception does not for most translate to an emotional and physical understanding.

Most individuals tend to have a negative or unreliable relationship with themselves, and how that plays out negatively affects how we reflect and interact in any situation.

“Your life is a series of patterns from the past that you are repeating with different people playing the same characters,” explains Helen Pleic. Winners keep winning because they surround themselves with other winners. How are you and your team playing winning patterns?Helen Pleic

Change can feel daunting in an endless world of possibilities. However, “if you are not moving towards what you want constructively, then this is a cue for you to do something differently.”

The answer to this question lies within. The inner reality of past childhood trauma or ‘confusion’ will lead you to the fact.

“A lot of people don’t want to admit to childhood trauma; however, they will admit to confusion or being exposed to things they should not have been exposed to,” shares Pleic.

“Things like confusion, indecision, over-communication, lack of awareness, being slow to take action, being unable to make longer-term decisions about your future, and low confidence are all subtle signs of childhood neglect and trauma.” How many of these do you experience in the workplace?

When coaching begins to feel like a bandaid, it is these trapped experiences and feelings that need to be unearthed, heard, and released from your nervous system to free you to take action to change your life. This requires a completely different process.

If you are seeking to be more authentic, it is time for you to release your past, feel safe and to find your real why. It’s about taking that first step toward success with someone who values your expectations to the highest degree.

What matters most is someone who devotes their life to teaching, guiding, and directing you toward achieving your goals. Meet your secret weapon to internal freedom and success, expert Helen Pleic. With over two decades of vast experience, her name has shone brightly in the industry.

Described as intensely curious, Pleic uses her Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), combined with NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and spiritual healing techniques, to release all patterns that are stopping you.

At a one on one level, its personalized approach works with clients to help them reframe any negative beliefs, values, habits, and emotions – many of which they have carried since childhood. Often, these have been so deeply buried in their subconscious that they are unaware of the past issues affecting them. In a group setting, prompts are given to participants as they make their own observations and connections, achieving a similar release.

By giving the client the potential to alter their thoughts and end negative self-talk, they can positively approach life and move forward. Ultimately, it moves past ongoing mental positive reinforcement but enables the creation of new neural pathways in mind – which in turn forms positive outlooks on life which allows for self leadership and you climb the corporate ladder.

“My approach is to get the baggage gone first and to see where the person naturally resets themselves. From there, it moves into coaching and skills development, but once the problem is gone, the person will naturally enjoy their life more or set greater goals to achieve,” Pleic says.

Beyond that, it’s where identities are born and transformations take place. As an industry leader once in the luxury and sports fashion industry, the shift from a corporate world to a mindful therapeutic coaching one was life-changing.

“I wish I had known about therapy and NLP before I started managing people,” confesses Pleic. “I wish I could have paid for people to have therapy like this. In the working world, they don’t realize what’s involved, and a lot of self-leadership comes with putting yourself in new situations and dealing with the past.”

If you are dealing with polar opposite states of mind, from anger to feeling emotionally at work, having balanced “mental and physical wellness” is the ultimate luxury. Invest in yourself right away.

Or, as a leader, ask yourself, how are individuals’ reactions impacting team dynamics and business performance. Are you coaching and training your people the right way?
