Mayhem frontman Attila Csihar jumped on stage with Cavalera, the metal project led by Sepultura‘s founding members Max and Igor Cavalera, this past November 30 in Budapest, for a bone-crushing rendition of the band’s classic track, “Troops of Doom.”
Csihar, known for his intense stage presence and blackened rasp, adds a new layer of aggression to the already ferocious tune. His vocals complement Max‘s signature growl, creating a harrowing sonic assault that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Igor‘s drumming, as always, is a powerhouse of precision and tribal fury, driving the song forward with an unstoppable momentum. Check out fan-filmed footage below.
Cavalera just wrapped up their European tour, where they played tracks from their recently re-recorded versions of Sepultura‘s Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions records.
